An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Mental Health Professional for the post of Clinical Lead Nurse in a purpose built facility, providing 58 inpatient beds, for the rehabilitation of :
– Male patients with a brain injury within medium, low and open settings
– Deaf people with mental disorders requiring a medium secure environment.
– Male and female patients with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

Job description
As a Clinical Lead Nurse you will have significant clinical experience and will be responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the Nursing Department throughout the hospital site and also be responsible for the maintaining of clinical excellence within the nursing team.
To provide specialist advice, guidance and support to the Board of Directors, Hospital Manager, Service Managers, and other staff on patient safety issues that affect the hospital, its employees and others using the facilities.
To support the Service Managers, ensuring all incidents are managed and investigated in a timely manner. Also to ensure that the necessary remedial actions have been taken to, where possible, minimise harm.
