Head of Business Development – Rehabilitation Hospital

We are currently working with a reputable rehabilitation hospital in Warrington which is looking for a Business Development Manager.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Management of the Business Development Department supporting 4 sites.
• Responsible for the continued growth of the business through increased sales, tenders, new developments and acquisition.
• Manage, maintain and retain existing contacts to ensure continuous compliance and sustainable profitability.
• Lead on the development of new and existing services in the community and hospital services on an in/out-patient basis.
• Establish, develop and maintain contacts and relationships with Healthcare Commissioners, Psychiatrists, GPs, Social Workers and other key referring stakeholders.
• Support the sales process through joint solution development, consultation meetings and presentations.
• Manage the referral pipeline for all services.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Experience of Domiciliary Care and Supported Living services
• Experience of the writing of bids and management of tender process
• Experience of NHS and public sector procurement procedures
• Experience of managing projects successfully
• Ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation
• Ability to assimilate knowledge with in tight time scales
• Excellent presentation skills demonstrating professionalism and confidence.
• Comprehensive time management skills
• An understanding of the clinical values that drive the company and the delivery of excellent patient centered care.
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality both in a hospital and commercial setting.
• Competency in basic IT skills, Word, Power Point, Access and Excel, data Collection, analysis and interpretation
