We are recruiting nurses for a private hospital in Wellingborough which looks after people with physical disabilities, brain injury & some learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

1. Reports to the Clinical Team Leader and Registered Manager and is responsible for the supervisory management of all support and ancillary staff and the efficient deployment of all resources used within the unit when acting as the Senior Nurse on duty.
2. Has specific responsibility for the supervisory management and monitoring of the nursing team competencies in relation to formulated standards, instructing, counseling, guiding and correcting as necessary.
3. Will assist the Clinical Team Leader in formulating and implementing nursing standards and other quality measurement criteria in conjunction with the Registered Manager and Regional Manager.
4. Will assist the Clinical Team Leader and Registered Manager in ensuring that the National Minimum Standards are always strictly adhered to.
5. Will assist the Clinical Team Leader and Registered Manager in ensuring that the induction training, ongoing training and supervision given to care staff is conducive to providing an environment for all residents, that is caring, healthy, safe, and therapeutic. That the environment provides meaningful occupational, recreation and education opportunities and meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the individual.
6. Will assist the Clinical Team Leader and Registered Manager in ensuring that staff dress and appearance is clean, tidy and suitable for the work undertaken.

buildings, grounds, furnishings, fabric and equipment are maintained to an acceptable standard and report any deficiencies or faults.
8. Will assist the Registered Manager as delegated, in the day to day control of designated budgets, in consultation with the Regional Manager.
9. Assist the Registered Manager in maintaining a Petty Cash system and records as per company policies and procedures.
10. Assist the Registered Manager in managing residents finances where requested to do so and helping to maintain records of these according to company policies and procedures.
