Currently working with a large mental health hospital looking for RGN’s and RMN’s to work in a rehabilitation setting
Job Role:
Work collaboratively with your team applying effective leadership, supervision and motivational skills ensuring the shift is managed and resources are deployed effectively to meet the changing needs of the business, promoting high standards of nursing care at all times.
Play an active role within the rehabilitation team to meet the patients individual rehabilitation goals.
Work closely with patients to promote greater independence and personal choice and engagement in a wide range of activities within an environment which is conducive to their varied and complex needs, helping them to realise their potential to live as independently as possible.
Actively contribute in clinical and nursing reviews ensuring accurate and concise written and verbal feedback is provided regarding the patient’s care.
Job Requirements
In order to achieve this you will be:
RGN/RMN qualified.
Have a flexible attitude and wholly adopt a person centred ethos, showing empathy and a desire to make a difference.
Possess excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to deliver concise, detailed reports.
Be up to date with current practices, demonstrate strong leadership and management qualities and be willing to take ownership for the delivery of quality care.
Hold a current registration with the NMC and have a legal right to work in the UK.
Experience of working with acquired brain injuries and/or in a neurological rehabilitation setting would also be desirable.
